Clear aligners are slim, transparent trays, custom-made to fit your teeth. You wear a series of them, each one moving your teeth a tiny bit closer to their final position, until your smile is beautifully straight.
They are removable, so you take them out to eat, drink and clean your teeth, and because they are clear, most people will not even notice you are wearing them.

Often just a few months
Treatment time depends on how much movement your teeth need. Many cases take around six to twelve months, and minor corrections can be quicker. We will give you a clear idea at your consultation.

See your new smile
Using your scan, we create a digital plan that shows how your teeth will move and what your finished smile will look like, before you commit. Your bespoke Angel Aligners are then made for you.
Step three
Wear and progress
You wear each set of aligners for around twenty to twenty-two hours a day, switching to the next set every week or two. We see you now and then to check everything is moving nicely to plan.
Step four
Reveal and retain
Once your teeth have reached their final position, we fit you with a retainer to keep your new smile in place for good. Then it is simply a case of enjoying your straighter, more confident smile.

Aligners fit easily into everyday life, and a few simple habits keep your treatment on track and your teeth healthy throughout. Here is how to get the best from them.
The golden rule
Wear them 20 to 22 hours a day
This is the most important habit of all. Aligners only work when you wear them, so keep them in for around twenty to twenty-two hours a day, taking them out only to eat, drink anything but water, and clean your teeth.
Before they go back in
Brush before re-inserting
Always brush your teeth before putting your aligners back in after eating. Trapping food or sugar against your teeth under an aligner is the quickest way to cause decay or staining.
Keep them clear
Clean your aligners daily
Rinse your aligners whenever you take them out and gently clean them with a soft brush and cool water. Avoid hot water, which can warp them, and never drink anything hot or coloured while wearing them.
When you finish
Wear your retainer
Once treatment is complete, a retainer keeps your teeth in their lovely new position. Teeth naturally try to drift back over time, so wearing your retainer as advised protects all your hard work.
